NECESSARY MATERIALS
1. For the body:
- flesh-colored knitwear for the body, legs, arms and head.
- white cotton to strengthen the body and legs.
2. For the jumpsuit - white velour (you can replace it with your own
fabric).
3. For the cuffs of the jumpsuit - mint-colored knitwear.
4. For the hat and scarf - mint-colored knitwear.
5. Shoes - doll sneakers with Velcro.
6. For the unicorn horn - shiny mother-of-pearl knitwear (you can
replace it with your own fabric).
7. Tressa doll's hair (I have straight light lilac).
8. The filler is synthetic fluff.
9. For eyes - black acrylic paint on fabric and a thin brush or manicure
points.
10. Glue and glue gun.
11. Cosmetic blush to powder your cheeks.
12. For fastening the legs - buttons with a thickness of 15 mm and strong
threads (I have waxed).
13. Wire to make the doll's arms bend.
14. For a Unicorn on a stick:
- white fleece;
- colored yarn for the mane;
- a wooden stick;
- felting needle No. 36 or No. 38;
- ribbon and decor for decoration.
15. For decoration - decorative hearts (you can choose the decor to your
taste).
16. Threads to match the fabric.
17. Needles.
18. Scissors.
19. Pencil or marker for fabric.

For the doll's body, I use dense flesh-colored
knitwear. ATTENTION! Position the patterns in the
direction of the main thread. Fold the fabric in half
face-in, secure with pins and transfer the patterns
of the body and head to the fabric. Also transfer
all the marks that are indicated on the patterns.

Sew along the red contours and cut out the parts
with an allowance of 5 mm (photos 1-3). Next, open
the upper part of the head and attach the wedge of
the head, combining the marks on the sides. Fix it
with letters and sew it along the red contour
(photos 4-5). Using tweezers and a sushi stick, turn
out the details of the body and head (photos 6-7).

STEP 2
I strengthen knitwear fabric for legs and arms with cotton so
that they keep their shape better. Fold the fabric in layers: first
cotton, then knitwear folded in half face-in, the cotton again
(photo 1).
Secure the layers of fabric with pins. Transfer the patterns of the
legs and arms to the fabric. Sew along the red contours, leaving
the holes for turning out unstitched (photo 2).
Cut out the details of the arms and legs with an allowance of 5
mm. In the places of rounding, make small incisions without
affecting the seam, so that when turning out the parts there are
no creases (photos 3-4). Using tweezers and a sushi stick, turn
out the of the arms and legs. Straighten all the seams well
(photo 5).

STEP 3
For stuffing, I use a sintepuh. Fill the trunk tightly
and evenly so that there are no voids and
irregularities on the fabric. Sew the stuffing hole
with a secret seam (photos 1-3).
Then fill the head tightly and evenly so that the
shape of the head is rounded and the seams are
even (photos 4-5).

Fill your legs very tightly starting from the bottom of

the foot and gradually moving up. Sew the hole with a
secret seam (photos 1-3).
To make the doll's arms bend, I insert a wire into them,
but first wrap the wire with adhesive tape so that the
wire does not damage the fabric from the inside
(photos 4-5). Photo 2
Next, fill the palm and finger with filler, then insert
the wire and continue stuffing, as if lining the wire
with filler on each side. We fill the handles not very
tightly, just to give them a shape (photos 6-7).

STEP 5
To fasten the legs, I use transparent buttons with a diameter of
15 mm, a long needle and a strong waxed thread (photo 1). Photo 4
Before attaching the feet, put doll shoes on them. Measure 10
mm on the legs from the top down and put marks on the outside
and inside of the leg (photo 2). Measure 10 mm from the bottom
edge up on the body, put marks and check with a long needle
whether the marks are at the same level (photo 3).

Next, put the button on the thread and run both ends of the
thread through one leg, then through the body and the second
leg along the marks left. Next, put the second button on one end
of the thread and tie the threads into a knot. Thus, the knot will
be under the button (photos 4-5).
When tightening the threads, make sure that the legs fit snugly
to the body. Tie the threads into several knots for reliability and
cut the ends of the threads. The correct fastening of the legs is

I also use a long needle and strong waxed thread to attach the head.
Determine the center on the top of the head and put a mark (photo 1).
Then insert the needle into this mark and bring it out into the hole of
the head without affecting the tissue of the hole (photo 2).
Next, measure 20 mm from the top down on the neck and put a mark.
At this level, the head will be mounted on the neck (photo 3). Now
run the needle through the neck at the level of the mark and out
through the hole in the head into the mark on the top of the head
(photo 3).
Tie the ends of the threads into a knot by tightening the thread and
screw the head onto the neck with twisting movements. Tie a few
more knots and cut the thread. Fix the knots with a drop of glue for
reliability (photos 4-5).

JUMPSUIT
STEP 7
I use white velour for the jumpsuit. Plush with a small pile is
also perfect. Fold the edges of the fabric to the center face
inwards and attach the pattern to the fold of the fabric twice
mirrored (photo 1). To prevent the layers of fabric from shifting,
be sure to secure them with pins.
Next, cut out the details of the jumpsuit with an allowance of 5
mm and sew it on top along the red contour (photo 2).

Now position the two parts of the jumpsuit with the inside out to
yourself, fold the bottom edge and sew along the red contour
(photo 3).

Then we combine the two parts of the jumpsuit with each other
face inwards, secure them with pins and sew them along the red
contours (photo 4).
Next, combine the legs of the jumpsuit, the central seams and
sew along the red contour (photo 5). Turn out the part of the
jumpsuit and put it on the doll (photo 6-7).

Fold the fabric in half face-in, secure with pins and
transfer the hood patterns as shown in (photo 1). Cut
with an allowance of 5 mm. You should have 4 side
parts of the hood and two central parts (photos 2-3).
Now connect the side part of the hood with the

central front side inside and sweep along the upper
edge (photo 4). Stitch and remove the basting. Next,
sew the second side part of the hood to the central
part (photo 5).
The first part of the hood is ready. Connect the
other parts of the hood in the same way. You should
have two hood details (photo 6).

JUMPSUIT
STEP 9
Insert one part of the hood into the other with the front
sides inside. Align all the slices and basting the contour
around the perimeter, leaving a small hole at the
bottom for turning out. Then sew and remove the
basting (photo 1). Turn out the hood, straighten the
fabric well at the seams and iron it (photo 2).
Slightly bend the upper edge of the jumpsuit inside and
sew the jumpsuit to the doll's body with a secret seam

(photo 3).
Then put the hood on the doll's head and secure it with Photo 4
pins to the jumpsuit. The hood should be freely
removed from the doll's head, so make sure that it does
not fit tightly around the head, since you also need to
take into account the doll's hairstyle and hat (photos 4-
6). Sew the hood to the upper edge of the jumpsuit with
a secret seam (photo 7).

JUMPSUIT
STEP 10
For the sleeves, we will need a white velour measuring
15x20 cm (photo 1). Fold the bottom edge of the fabric
inwards and sew (photo 2). Next, fold the fabric as
shown in (photo 3), secure with pins. Attach the sleeve
pattern to the fold of the fabric and transfer it to the
fabric. Make the second sleeve as well (photo 3). Sew
along the red contour, cut out the details of the sleeves Photo 2
with an allowance of 5 mm, turn them out and put them
on the doll's hands (photo 3-4).

For cuffs, I use mint-colored knitwear measuring 8 x
4cm (photo 5). Fold the jersey in half along the long
side, face inwards and sew along the red line. Then cut
the cuff detail in half along the black contour (photo 6).
Now form the cuffs by combining the seams (photo 7).

JUMPSUIT
Secure the cuffs with a few stitches and put them on
arms so that they look out from under the sleeves.

Secure the cuffs to the sleeve with a couple of drops of
glue. Sew the sleeves to the body using a long needle
and waxed thread, grabbing the fabric only from the
inside of the sleeve. Put the ends of the threads under
the armpit from behind, tie them in several knots, hide
the ends of the threads in the body and cut the thread.
The arms should fit snugly to the body (photos 8-9).
I also use 10x6 cm knitwear to make cuffs on the legs of
a jumpsuit (photo 10). Cuffs on the legs of the jumpsuit
are made in the same way as cuffs on the sleeves
(photos 11-12). We fix the layers of cuffs with a couple
of stitches, put them on the legs so that they look out
from under the trousers and almost cover the shoes. We
fix the cuffs on trousers and shoes with a couple of
drops of glue (photos 13-14).

HAT
STEP 11

For the hat, I use the same mint jersey as for the cuffs
of the jumpsuit. The size is 22x22 cm. Fold the fabric in
half face-in, secure with pins. Attach the pattern of the
hat with one side to the fold of the fabric, and draw a
line on the other side (photo 1).
Sew along this line, cut the allowance to 5 mm and fold
the resulting fabric tube in half, combining the seams.
Now position the hat detail so that the seam is
centered. Secure the layers of fabric with pins, attach
the pattern of the hat and circle the upper rounded
edge of the pattern (photo 2).
Sew, cut the allowance to 5 mm and turn out the hat
(photo 3-4). Try the hat on the doll. How the hat should
be placed on the doll's head is shown in (photos 5-7).

HAIR
STEP 12
Before fixing the hairstyle, we will make a markup. To do this,
without removing the hat from the head, determine the center
of the face along the forehead line and pin it with a pin. Then
we will place several more pins symmetrically under each
other (photo 1).
Then take off the hat and draw hair growth lines relative to
the pins left. At the back of the head, the lines slightly drop
down (photos 2-3).
I use Tressa's straight artificial hair. They can be purchased
in creative shops. Since the doll will have a hat, I don't cover Photo 2
my entire head with hair. I glue my hair to my head with a
glue gun. 3-4 rows of hair are enough. If you are a complete
beginner, it is better to sew hair seam "back with a needle".
Then, in case of an error, you can tear off the sewn hair and Photo 4
redo it again (photos 4-5).
After the hair is fixed on the head, it needs to be combed well
to remove excess hairs. Then put the hat on the doll's head.
Fix it with a few drops of glue in the forehead area. After
that, you can put on the hood of the jumpsuit. We do not glue
the hood to the hat (photos 6-7).

SCARF
STEP 13
For the scarf, I use the same mint knitwear with a
size of 30x10 cm. Fold the fabric in half face-in,
secure with pins and sew along the long side. Cut
the allowance to 5 mm (photo 1).
Now turn out the resulting pipe on the front side and
place the seam in the center (photo 2). Try on the

blank of the scarf on the doll, placing the seam to
yourself (photo 3).
Next, secure the scarf with a pin from the back. Photo 4
Carefully remove the scarf without removing the pin,
draw a line diagonally and sew it. Cut the allowance
to 5 mm (photos 4-5).
Turn the scarf out on the front side, put it on the
doll and tuck the hair under the scarf (photo 6-7).

EARS
STEP 14
For the unicorn ears on the hood of the jumpsuit, I
use white velour and mint knitwear. Fold the pieces
of fabric with the sides facing each other, secure
them with pins and transfer the pattern of the ears.
Sew along the red contour, leaving a small hole at
the bottom for turning out (photo 1).
Cut out the ears with an allowance of 5 mm and turn
them out with tweezers (photos 2-3). Next, connect Photo 2
the lower corners of the ear together and sew them
with a secret seam at the bottom. Do not cut the
thread, as we will sew the ears to the hood. We do
the second ear in the same way (photos 4-5). Photo 4
Now attach the ears to the hood along the
connection lines of the central and side parts of the
hood. Fix ears with pins and sew it with a secret
seam around the perimeter of the lower part of the
ears (photo 6-7).

EYES Photo 1
STEP 15
Before drawing a face, cover the doll's body with a film or
cellophane bag. Use pins to mark the location of the doll's eyes,
then remove the pins and put dots in pencil (photos 1-2).
Now use nail dots and black acrylic paint to draw the doll's eyes.
If there is no dots, you can use a thin stick or brush. I draw the
arrows with a toothpick, as the line turns out to be thin. We draw
small arrows, so the eyes look prettier. But you can leave your
eyes without arrows if you prefer (photos 3-4).
Let the paint dry and you can rouge your cheeks. To do this, I
use regular cosmetic blush and a blush brush. I apply blush in
circular movements and lightly shade them with a cotton pad
(photo 4). To keep the blush longer, you can lightly spray
hairspray on your cheeks.

HORN
STEP 16
I make the unicorn horn to decorate the hood of the doll from
mother-of-pearl knitwear, but you can use any dense shiny fabric.
Transfer the pattern of the big horn to the fabric and cut along the
contour (photo 1).
Fold the triangle face inwards and stitch the needle back along the
long side (photo 2). Using tweezers and a sushi stick, turn out the
horn on the front side (photo 3).
Next, take a thread of contrasting color in 5-6 additions, insert the
thread into the needle, tie a knot at the end of the thread and put Photo 2
the thread from the tip of the horn (photo 4). Now fill the horn with
filler to give it a shape (photo 5).

Assemble the hole on a thread along the edge and, turning the edges
inward, tighten the thread, thereby closing the hole. Fasten and cut
the thread (photo 6). Wrap the horn in a spiral with a contrasting
thread that comes out of the top of the horn. Be sure to fix the
thread with a couple of drops of transparent glue so that the thread
does not move anywhere (photo 7). Cut off the tip of the thread and Photo 5
glue the finished horn onto the hood of the doll.

MINI UNICORN
STEP 17
Mini Unicorn on a stick for doll decoration. Fold the
white fleece in half face-in, secure with pins and
transfer the pattern of the mini unicorn. Cut with an
allowance of 5 mm (photos 1-2).
For the mane, I use yarn of two colors suitable for my
doll. Wrap the yarn in the palm of your hand in the
volume that you like and then carefully cut the yarn Photo 2
from the bottom and top (photo 3-4).
Remove one part of the unicorn's head, spread the

yarn evenly over the head and put the part of the
head back face inwards. Lay the basting along the
entire contour of the head, and then sew and remove
the basting (photo 5-6). Turn out the resulting head
with a mane (photo 7).

MINI UNICORN
STEP 18
Stuff the mini unicorn's head with filler, then drip some clear glue
inside the head and insert the wand. Wait until the glue sets
(photos 1-2).
Next, assemble the fabric along the lower edge of the head on a
thread, tuck the fabric inside, tighten the thread so that the fabric
fits tightly around the wand and there are no holes. Fasten and
cut the thread (photo 3).
Make a small horn out of shiny knitwear using a smaller pattern Photo 2
and following the description in STEP 16. Glue the finished horn
to the head. Next, take black threads in 4-5 additions and
embroidery the eye and nostril of the unicorn (photo 4). Photo 4
Lay the mane beautifully and fix it to the head with a felting
needle as shown in (photo 5). Close the place of attachment of the
mane with a decorative decoration to your taste, I glued a heart
and decorated the wand with a ribbon (photo 6). Please note that
the unicorn's muzzle and mane are located only on one side of the
head. The reverse side is shown in (photo 7).
