Details:
This tool is put to use when so requested by the Customer Support team.
This tool is required for all installations where an external display is connected.
1 Software provided
As a zip file via e-mail.
1.1 Extract the zip file, using the password ’service’ (lower case, i.e. small letters).
1.2 Copy the file ‘screen_duplication_20200611_Ver_1000.exe’ to a blank USB medium.
2 ECDIS Stations
Have both Master and Backup running.
2.1 Go to Backup Station and exit the Navigation Mode (follow the pictures below).

2.2 Insert your USB medium.
Options are:
Using an external USB socket
putting it directly into the panel pc.
External USB socket:
Putting it directly into the panel pc (please do not use the port labelled ‘1.1’)
2.3 Click on Update Software.

2.4 Select the file.
2.5 Click on Install.
2.6 Click on Yes.

2.7 After a few seconds, the “Update Software” button will change its colour from blue to
white.
This means the installation process has been finished.
2.8 Go to the Master station and repeat Steps 2.2 to 2.7.
2.9 At the Master station, click on the Navigation Mode button and wait until Navigation
Mode is loaded and green info labels are shown.
2.10 At the Backup station, click on the Navigation Mode button and wait until Navigation
Mode is loaded and green info labels are shown.
2.11 Check that the Master and Backup labels are shown.
