Livon Mateo: "Greetings, esteemed guests, and esteemed colleagues in the Library

and Information Science community. Today marks a significant moment as I have


the privilege of serving as your Master of Ceremony for this special event. My name
is Livon Mateo, and I am truly excited to guide you through this induction program
for the newly elected MLIS Society officers. Without further ado, let us commence
this event with a prayer followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem."

Livon Mateo: "After the solemn invocation and the stirring rendition of our national
anthem, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our esteemed classmates and
colleagues in the field of Library and Information Science who have graced us with
their presence today."
Livon Mateo: "Now, to officially kickstart this event, may I invite Dr. Rhodora P.
Julian, the Chairperson of Library and Information Science, and Chairperson of the
Master in Library and Information Science, to deliver the opening remarks and
introduce our distinguished inducting officer."

Livon Mateo: Thank you, Dr. Rhodora P. Julian, for your inspiring remarks. Now, I
have the pleasure of inviting Dr. Rosemariebeth Dizon, the esteemed Dean of the
College of Education, to guide us through the presentation of the oath-taking
ceremony for our newly elected MLIS Society officers
