PROBLEM STATEMENT WITH THEIR SOLUTION

• Assistive spectacles for the deaf with voice to text conversion and
display feature
This is a small smart spectacle that converts speech to text and displays
it on the screen of the glass to enable a hearing impaired understand (by
reading) what the other person is saying. This innovation is born out of a desire
to create an affordable, scalable, and inclusive solution to bridge the
communication gap between the hearing-impaired and the hearing-enabled.

• Solar seeder
The machine has a seeding unit, which has a hopper filled with seeds.
There is a wooden roller on which holes are drilled. When the seeds fall
from the unit on to the wooden roller, it will transfer the seeds to
connected hoses and transfer them to the ground

• Shoes with seed drill for farmers


idea is to have shoes with drills fitted into them so that farmers can
simply walk and dig holes in the field simultaneously. The shoes may
also contain seed compartments so that they can be easily sown and
spread in the holes of the field. The rear part of the shoes may have
brushes to cover up the holes in which seeds have been sown.
PROBLEM STATEMENT WITH THEIR SOLUTION

• Two in One Cultivator and Blade Harrow


For intercultural operations, separate blade harrows or intercultural tools are used.
The harrowing operation is done after ploughing. Separate implements are
attached to the tractor three-point for performing these operations. Rajnikant
noticed that it takes much time for attaching and detaching these implements. To
eliminate this problem, he has provided a blade harrow (for harrowing operation) on
top of an existing cultivator. The innovation is a tractor-mounted three-bottom
cultivator cum blade harrow. Both the cultivator tynes and blade harrow can be used
alternately using a reversible mechanism. While one is used on the farm, the other is
carried upside on the implement. At the end of each operation, the paired blade
harrow/cultivator tynes are turned over so that the other can be used. The field
capacity for ploughing and harrowing is 1.6 acres per hour and 2 acres per hour,
respectively

• Artificial Assistance for the visually challenged


The camera would capture images of people and places, voice-tag it,
and store in an inbuilt database. When a person is face-to-face again,
the image processing software would identify the person whose name
would be informed to the visually challenged through headphones.

• Wear a helmet to start you two wheeler


Essentially, this means that if someone is not wearing their helmet, the
two-wheeler does not start.
The idea was inspired by the large number of road accidents in the
newspaper. Wearing a helmet reduces the chances and extent of
injury. “If something can be so important in saving a life, should it not
then be made compulsory,” the friends wondered.
That’s how they came up with the idea of using the helmet as an ignition.
