Merlinda Bobis. Merlinda Bobis is one of the
filipino writer who received numerous
accolades and awards for her works. She
grew up in Legazpi, Albay, Philippines.
Merlinda Bobis published novels, short
stories, dramas and poems.

Collaborate with your groupmates. Imagine

how would you make a letter for your
daughter Rica and let her understand your
situations abroad. How would you still deliver
your proper parenting to your daughter even
though you were apart in distance?

Group 2. Construct an ending of the story. In
this activity, collaborate with your
groupmates. Think of a good ending that
could make the main character surpass her
sadness. (Write your work in a yellow paper

Group 3. Writing a letter as a Father.
Collaborate with your groupmates. Imagine
you are the father of Rica and as the Sadness
Collector of your daughter’s emotion, how
would you make a letter for your daughter
Rica and let her understand the situation of
your family. How would you still deliver your
proper parenting to your daughter? Instead of
telling scary story that might ruin the peace of
mind of your daughter.
