1. (a) A teacher asks to list out the factors of 18. Answer the following questions:

- Express the set in listing method.

- Rewrite the set in set-builder form.

(b) Is 36 a member of the set? Give reason.

(c) On the occasion of Sunils birthday, he distributed 24 snickers and 36 Cadburys equally to his
friends. What is the greatest number of his friends? Find.

2. Kristinas family members visited Lumbini last week.

(a) While going to the airport from her home, they walked a certain distance, then traveled 4/7
parts of the distance by bus, and 1/7 parts by taxi.

- By which vehicle did they travel more to go to the airport?

- If the distance from the airport to her home is 20 km, how long a distance did they travel by bus?

(b) Convert the distance traveled by taxi into decimal places.

(c) What is the bus fare of a member at the rate of Rs. 7.5 per km?

3. Mr. Thapa is a stationer.

(a) What is the cost price of each book if he bought 20 books for Rs. 6,000?

(b) If he made a profit of Rs. 30 on each book, what is the selling price of each book?

(c) If he sold 45% of books on Sunday, how many books did he sell on Sunday?

4. Mr. Ghale has a rectangular plot and Mrs. Chaudhary has a square plot.

- The plot of Mr. Ghale is 50 m long and 32 m wide. The areas of both plots are equal.

- What is the area of Mrs. Chaudharys plot?

- What is the length of Mrs. Chaudharys plot?

- Who will need more wire to fence their plots for only one round? Find it.

5. If Mr. Ghale built a cuboidal house on his plot with length 40 ft, width 30 ft, and height 20 ft, what
is the volume of his house?
6. There are 5 hands of bananas in 1 bunch and 6 bunches of bananas in another basket. If the
number of fingers in each hand of bananas is 4, how many total fingers are there in both bunches of
bananas?

7. The area of a rectangular field is (4xy + 2Lxy) sq. m.

(a) If the length of the field is 3xy meters, find its breadth.

(b) What is the actual breadth and area of the field?

8. The cost of 10 pencils is Rs 15 more than the cost of 7 pencils.

- What is the cost of a pencil?

9. In the given figure, write down the relationship between:

- (i) PQ and AB

- (ii) PQ and RS

(b) Draw a line segment AB of length 6 cm by using a ruler. At A, by the help of a compass, draw
PA. AB where PA = 8 cm then join and B.

(c) What type of triangle PAB is formed in (b)? Give a reason.

10. The chord that passes through the center of the circle is called _____.

(b) Write down the names of 3 triangles and 2 quadrilaterals from the given figure.

11. (a) In a cuboidal box, if the number of faces = F, the number of vertices = V, and the number of
edges = E, then what is the value of F + V - E?

(b) Plot the points (1,5), (2,5), (2,-1), and (6,-1) on a graph paper in the right order. Name the
figures obtained. Also, find the area of the figures.

(c) Draw a tessellation using squares of the same size and color it.

12. The table below shows the number of students enrolled in a school in the academic session
2078 B.S. from class VI to class X.
