Instructions to Students:
• Submission is no later than Friday, 11th of July 2025 @ 23:59.
• This is a teamwork project for two to three students.
• You are required to submit your soft-copy of this document via LMS (one student from the
team is required for submission).
• You must not cheat and do not copy from other submissions.
• All submissions will be checked against the plagiarism though “Turnitin” tool.
• Email submission will not be considered.

1. Overview
Students are required to form themselves into teams of two to three members. They are
required to follow the Software Engineering principles to analyze and design the proposed
project. They have to choose one of the software development processes and
methodologies according to the nature of their project, resources, and timeline. They have
to manage their project professionally.
Students should address the following tasks:
• Business Plan
• Feasibility Study
• Project Management
• Software Engineering Process Modeling
• Requirements Analysis, Definition and Specification
• Architectural Design
• System Design
• Implementation
• Testing
• Evaluation
Students may discuss their point-of-view regarding the above-listed tasks and include the
complete and clear justification of the analysis, design, and the rest of the tasks of their
proposed project.
2. Report’s contents
Students are required to submit a report for their proposed project that includes all tasks
mentioned in the previous point. Additionally, students may think about a commercial
name for their project. The report should include an introduction and conclusion for their
work.

3. Presentation
Students are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation (along with the
aforementioned report). They have to present their project in a 10 minutes presentation
session after the project submission.
4. Assessment
The project will be assessed based on the following criteria:
• Consistency, sequence, and clarity of the ideas.
• Clear write-up of the report.
• Choosing the appropriate models, techniques, etc.
• Drawing the needed charts and diagrams professionally where they are needed.
• As a part of the assessment, students are required to conduct a presentation.
Students’ grading will depend on their contribution to the project, and their
preparation and answering questions during the presentation.
5. Assignment outlines
• Do not forget to include the title of your project, students’ names, and IDs on the
cover page of the report.
• Make sure to include an overview (Introduction) in the beginning of the report, and
conclusion at the end it.
• All charts and diagrams must be designed professionally by utilizing an appropriate
software.
• The text should be directly related to the task.
• Use section and page numbering.
6. Academic Integrity
• Copying or paraphrasing someone's work, or permitting your own work to be copied
or paraphrased, even if only in part, is not allowed, and would result in disciplinary
action according to the SUC policy. Any resources, quotations, or ideas borrowed
from other sources should be explicitly cited/referenced in the text and mentioned
in a references list at the end of your report.

• You are required to submit your soft-copy of the report (Word document) via LMS
along with the PowerPoint presentation. One student of the group is required for
submission.
• PowerPoints slides should be prepared for the presentations session. Team
members’ attendance is mandatory.
• All submissions will be checked against plagiarism through “Turnitin” tool with
similarity percentage not exceeding 10%.
• Email submission will not be considered.
