tif) In the confusion of Easter morning, Peter proved to be a mentor to the younger disciple in todays gospel. Even though the younger disciple arrived first at the empty tomb, he waited for Peter to make sense of this confusing event. Children in our families and neighborhoods also need mentors to help them make sense out of the confusing times and bewildering events that surround their lives. We can help our young people see and believe just like the young disciple in the gospel. (Insert graphic 1106-0086) 366 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week.
Just as you cannot be exposed to the sun without receiving its rays, neither can you come to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament without receiving the Divine rays of His Grace, His Love, and His Peace. We have an open hour on Thursday morning from 8-9am. Please call Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926 if you are able to help out.
(Insert Graphic [Link]) My Dear Parishioners: May the blessings of almighty God and our Risen Savior the Lord Jesus Christ in the unity of the Holy Spirit be with you all as we celebrate Easter and begin our Easter season. It is with great joy that we begin our Easter season with sounds and voices of our new bells. I again want to express my thanks to all who made it possible for the voice of our bells to be heard again in our parish and the greater Barberton community. We will be utilizing the new bells in many different ways in the time ahead. I hope this Lenten season has been one of spiritual growth and renewal and that the days of this Easter Season, will be filled with the hope and joy of the Resurrection. Go forth and proclaim that hope and joy to our world that needs to know the mercy and love of the Savior. Jesus suffered, died, and rose from the dead that we might be saved from the power of sin and death and have the hope of salvation in the Resurrection. Christs Peace & Love! Fr.
