2. IDENTITY
2.1 Original Passport -valid only if signed, must have validity of 6 months after the
date of RETURN from Ireland for short stay visas OR atleast 1 year validity for
long stay visas.
2.2 Original Previous Passport
2.3 Birth and Marriage Certificate(If applicable) - original PSA copy
2.4 Non Filipino passport holders must show evidence of long stay permissions for
the Philippines, [Link], & ACR with permission to stay for atleast 3 months
upon return from Ireland.
3. PURPOSE OF TRAVEL
3.1 Application letter- A signed undertaking stating your full name, address, the
dates and purpose of your visit to Ireland. If applicable, list the names, address,
and relation to, family members residing in Ireland.
You should state that you will observe the conditions of your visa, that you will
not become a burden on the State, and that you will leave the State before the
expiration of your permission to remain.
3.2 Evidence of Flight & Hotel Booking OR Letter of Invitation &
Support/Assurance from host, stating dates of proposed visit, relation to
applicant, contact details, address of accommodations being provided, extent of
support, (estimated cost in euro if applicable) and guarantee that they will
assure their guest will not be a burden on the state and will not exceed their
permission to stay. ID and proof of address of host such as utility bill.
3.3 Cruise or Land Tour Booking- if applicable, showing name, travel dates,
itinerary, whether deposits have been paid

4. OBLIGATIONS TO RETURN
4.1 Evidence of Business or Profession, ie, ITR, BIR Registration, Mayors Permit,
SEC, Professional License
4.2 Certificate of Employment/Enrollment from current employer/school
guaranteeing employment /enrollment of the applicant upon their return after
their visit to Ireland.(if applicable), this must be on official letterhead with
contact details and must state, tenure, dates of approved leave of absence, and
must be accompanied by recent 3 months payslips.
4.3 Evidence of residence- Copy of property ownership or lease agreement or
statement as living with family
4.4 Dependent Family members (if applicable) original PSA birth certificate
5. CAPACITY
5.1 Evidence of funds – bank certificate (stating name, type of account, date
opened, ADB, and available funds) & most recent 6 months bank statements or
passbook. Irregular lump sum deposits must be explained.
5.2 Travel Insurance – minimum coverage of €30,000.-, ensure it covers Ireland for
the duration of your stay.
5.3 Where expenses are shouldered by another- Signed letter of support stating
sponsor’s full name, address, contact number, email address, how they are
connected to applicant, proof of relationship, why they are shouldering
expenses, and
6. SUPPORTING evidence of funds.

6 From Sponsor in Ireland
6.1 Copy of Identity page of passport and (if non EU national) valid IRP card
6.2 Original Letter of Invitation & Support/Assurance from host, stating dates of
proposed visit, relation to applicant, contact details, address of
accommodations, extent of support, and estimated amount in Euro (if
applicable) and guarantee that they will assure their guest will not be a burden
on the state and will not exceed their permission to stay.
6.3 Original Evidence of Funds: Bank Statements (recent 6mos.), Payslips (recent 3
mos.)& P60 (3 yrs) or other tax doc
6.4 Original & recent Certificate of Employment or copy of Business Registration
6.5 Original Birth/Marriage certificates (to show relation to applicant)
6.6 Proof of address/details of accommodation i.e. utility bill, lease agreement
6.7 Flight Itinerary (for Irish spouse/partner) if traveling together
7 For Dependent Children:
7.1 Original Marriage Certificate of Parents (PSA form if Philippine registered)
7.2 Original Proof of Dependency if 18-23 yrs old ie. Enrollment certificate, PWD,
etc.
7.3 Parental Travel consent from parents clearly indicating who is traveling with the
child. Both parents should provide consent and valid IDs. If either parent is
unable to provide consent, legal proof of and affidavit of sole guardianship must
be provided.
8 Evidence of your Intention to Marry or Enter to Civil Partnership
8.1 Acknowledgement from the Registrar confirming the date of receipt of
notification of intention to marry or enter into a civil partnership / Marriage
Registration Form (MRF).
8.2 evidence of your relationship with your prospective spouse (ei. evidence of your
prospective spouse having travelled to your country of residence on a number of
occasions to visit you, evidence of correspondence)
8.3 Marriage or civil partnership certificate /Divorce or dissolution of civil
partnership if either you or your prospective spouse were prevoisly married or
in a civil partnership.
