Revision in Counselling Schedule- JAC Delhi -2025
(activities listed from 3rd Round onwards)
Major Changes –
1. Another window of Choice Editing after Round 3 has been added
in the Schedule given ahead to enable interested candidates to
add/modify their choices of institute/branch.
2. Dates of Round 4 Seat Allotment Result and Physical Reporting
are now changed as per schedule given ahead. There will be no
physical reporting on July 07 and July 08 now.
3. Last Date of Withdrawal with Seat Acceptance Fee Refund has
been extended to 12th July 2025 (till 10:30 pm)
4. An additional counselling Round 5 has been introduced after
Round 4 before the Upgradation Round. Date of Upgradation
Round has therefore changed
THIRD ROUND

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round-3 and do not pay the seat
acceptance fee or have paid the required Seat Acceptance Fee and do not report
physically for document verification at respective University/Institute, the admission
will be cancelled.
Seat freezing (Online through candidate’s login only)
Last date and time: July 02, 2025
(Candidates may freeze their allotted seat after (Wednesday)
3 provisional admission if they do not want any upgradation
of seat/institute as per their filled choices) (upto 10:30 P.M.)
Withdrawal of admission (Online through candidate’s login only)
The candidates, who opt this option, will be treated to have withdrawn from all the
remaining rounds of counselling (They may participate only in the SPOT round). The

seat allotted to such candidates will be cancelled and shall be treated vacant.
Withdrawal option will remain open during physical reporting window.
Last date and time: July 12, 2025 (upto 10:30 PM)
FOURTH ROUND
Seat Conversion Rules (Section 3.2 of the Admission Brochure) are applicable in this
round

A window is being given for candidates who are interested in making any changes/additions
to their preference of choices of institute/branch, as per schedule mentioned below.
Already admitted candidates who have their seats as ‘Freeze’ or those who have Withdrawn
from the counselling or were allotted a seat in any Round from 1 to 3 but remained ‘Not
Reported’ cannot edit their choices

2. Candidate will get refund in case he/she withdraws on or before July
12,2025, 10:30 PM through his/her JAC login only.
3. Withdrawal request through application and/or E-mail will not be
considered in any circumstance.
4. No refund of Seat Acceptance Fee shall be made in case a candidate
withdraws after 10:30 PM, July 12th, 2025.
FIFTH ROUND

verification at respective University/Institute, the admission will be cancelled.

Withdrawal of admission (Online through candidate’s login only)
The candidates, who opt this option, will be treated to have withdrawn from all the remaining
rounds of counselling (They may participate only in the SPOT round). The seat allotted to
such candidates will be cancelled and shall be treated vacant. Withdrawal option will remain
open during physical reporting window.
Though withdrawal option is available, no refund of Seat Acceptance Fee shall
be admissible to the candidates withdrawing after 10:30 PM, July 12th, 2025
(10:30pm).

Note: General Guidelines for candidates
1. Candidates are advised to fill maximum choices/preferences in the given window of
Choice Editing, in order to maximize their chance to get admission and later to be
considered for Upgradation through JAC Delhi.
2. Seat conversion as per Section 3.2 of the Information Brochure may take place once the
registered claimants in the merit list for any seat in any category/sub-category gets
exhausted.
3. All certificates related to category/sub-category should be available with the candidates
in the correct prescribed format when he/she reports for document verification. No
additional time will be given to produce the required certificate.
4. Seat Acceptance Fee payment in any round will start immediately after the result is
published and will be open only till 2:00 pm of the last day of the physical reporting for
document verification of that round. All candidates have to report as per the given
schedule after payment of their seat acceptance fee.
5. Those candidates who have verified their documents and received the provisional letter
need not to report to any participating university/institute for further document
verification in subsequent rounds.
6. A candidate, who has already been admitted and gets upgraded in next round of
counselling, is not required to report at the upgraded University/Institute
7. Candidates whose seats get cancelled in any round due to deficiencies in their
documents and who are allotted a fresh seat in any subsequent round must report to
the respective University/Institute of the freshly allotted seat for document verification;
otherwise their admission against the new seat will be cancelled
