Chapter V
SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This chapter presented the summary, findings, conclusions, and the
recommendations of the study.
The findings revealed the answer to the following questions:
Summary
1. What is the level of perception among elementary pupils on the
implementation of face-to-face classes?
2. What is the level of readiness of elementary pupils on the implementation of
face-to-face classes?
3. Is there a significant between the level of perception and level of readiness
among elementary pupils on the implementation of face-to-face classes?
4. Based on the results of the study, what are the implications to be drawn?
Findings
The following are the findings of the study:
1. The level of perception among elementary pupils on the
implementation of face-to-face classes, the total weighted mean
is 2.79 with adjectival equivalent of “Always”. Based on the result
of the study, the level of Perception of Elementary Pupils on
Face-to-face Classes is High.
2. The level of readiness among elementary pupils on the
implementation of face-to-face classes, the total weighted mean
is 2.51 with adjectival equivalent of “Always”. The results show
that the level of readiness of elementary pupils on Face-to-face
Classes is average.
3. There was no significant relationship between level of perception
and level of readiness among elementary pupils on the face-to-
face classes. This means that the perception and readiness on
face-to-face classes of elementary pupils has no relationship and
did not influenced the elementary pupils. The null hypothesis was
accepted.
4. Based on the result, the implications to be drawn
Conclusion
Based on the research result, the research revealed that the
perception and readiness of elementary pupils on the implementation of face-to-
face classes had no significant difference between level of perception and level of
readiness among elementary pupils. This means that the perception and
readiness on face-to-face classes of elementary pupils has no relationship and did
not influenced the elementary pupils. The null hypothesis was accepted. This
means that for this study a possibility existed because of a lack of other factors
that can contribute to the validity and reliability of the existing data and instruments
used.
On the other hand, this study revealed that the perception and
readiness did not influenced the elementary pupils, that online and face-to-face
activities can lead to similar levels of academic performance but pupils are ready
and well prepared in dealing with face-to-face activities.
According to Albert Bandura, he believed that the learning process
compresses the three elements of learning cognition, learning behavior, and
learning environment. It constitutes a learning system that had a profound impact
on the learning effect.
In addition, face-to-face classes learning ensures a better
understanding and recollection of lesson content and gives pupils a chance to
bond with other pupils, it is also allows pupils asked questions in their teachers
while it is fresh on their mind or help with a particular problem.
In general, this paper studies the perception and readiness of
elementary pupils on the implementation of face-to-face classes. The researchers
concluded that indeed perception and readiness of elementary pupils on the
implementation of face-to-face classes had no significant difference between level
of perception and level of readiness among elementary pupils.
Recommendations
The following activities or actions were the recommendations by the
researcher:
a. To the Elementary Pupils.
1. They will be guided and aware through the results or findings of
the study. The elementary pupils will know how to cope and deal
with similar situation. The pupils will know how to overcome and
adjust the new implementation of face-to-face classes.
b. To the Teachers.
1. They will lead the learners to be aware with this study. And let the
learners perceive and inform to be ready on the implementation of
face-to-face classes.
c. To the School Principal.
1. They will be guided through the results of the researcher’s study
about the perception and readiness of elementary pupils on the
implementation of face-to-face classes. The school head will
evaluate the teachers and parents to give guidance to the learners
and children regarding on the implementation of face-to-face
classes. This study, the school principal will know how to cope up
the learning of the pupils.
d. To the Future Researchers.
1. This study will benefit the future researchers who will plan to
continue conducting and seeking additional about perception and
readiness of elementary pupils on the Implementation of face-to-face
classes. It also serves as a useful reference for more related studies
in the future.
