I declare that this project proposal is of my own and has never been produced anywhere that I may be
aware of.
The purpose of this project is to come up with an effective teaching and learning resource material to be
used in the teaching and learning process of English literature specifically on the various aspects of
styles used in literary works like poem, plays and novels as set in the curriculum. Aspects of style refer to
the various ways in which writers and poets use language in a connotative way whereas adopting
various phonological features in different poetic literally works. The use of language in a connotative
manner usually brings with it a certain effect. The idea of developing a learning resource project to teach
the various aspects of style students usually have a hard time identifying adopts the use of computer to
produce print out documents that can be used by learners in the learning process. The documents are
later laminated and walled in a board for students to use and familiarize themselves with.
