The two given graphs illustrate how a school library changed in a five-year period.

Overall, the library underwent significant adjustments in terms of academic


infrastructure, especially on the right-hand side with the exception of bookshelves
and a meeting room, reflecting modernization to meet demand of people’s

To the left-hand side of the library, the classroom was converted into a bigger
studio while the meeting room next to it remained intact. Moreover,
Borrowing/Returns room was separated with the Borrowings room situated at its
original area with additional function – Help Desk. Turning to the center of the
school library, private learning spaces were established, replacing the previous
communal desks area.
Regarding the right-hand side of the maps shown, desks for computers in the top
corner were repurposed for student laptops. Adjacent to it, the library office was
also transformed into a newly built conference room five years later. There were
two bookshelves’ areas  areas for bookshelves located in the top center and the
bottom of the library. While the bigger  lacks detail regarding positions and size
one near the existing Studio stayed unchanged, the remaining one was altered into
the site for student laptops.

period. Overall, the library underwent significant modernization, with notable
adjustments to its academic infrastructure, particularly on the right-hand side,
while some areas, such as the meeting room and a section of the bookshelves,
remained unchanged.
To the left-hand side of the library, the classroom was transformed into a larger
studio, while the adjacent meeting room retained its original structure.
Additionally, the Borrowing/Returns room was divided into two separate areas: the
Borrowings room, which remained in its original location, and the Returns room. A
Help Desk was also added to the Borrowings room to enhance functionality.
In the central part of the library, the communal desks were replaced with private
learning spaces, reflecting a shift toward individual study preferences. This change
marked a significant improvement in the library’s layout to meet the evolving
needs of students.
Turning to the right-hand side, the desks for computers in the top corner were
repurposed for student laptops, aligning with technological advancements.
Adjacent to this, the library office was converted into a newly constructed
conference room. The bookshelves in the top center and bottom of the library
experienced mixed changes. While the larger bookshelf near the studio remained
intact, the smaller one at the bottom was replaced with additional desks for student
laptops, further emphasizing the library’s modernization.
