Opening

All: Good morning, Dominikanos and Dominikanas! Welcome to the Orientation Seminar with a
theme of Sibol 2025: Traversing a blooming Journey of Excellence. I am Louise H. Batalla and I
am Herbert A. Briones your hosts in this event.

(Quick Chismisan)

Herbert: Kumusta ang bakasyon mo, partner?

Louise: Okay man, partner. (personal experience)

Herbert: Same, partner. And may mga bagong mukha na naman kita mahihiling.

Louise: True ka diyan, partner pero dai ta na ini parapahaluyon pa ta I’m very excited to meet
them, partner. Punan tana ini!

Herbert: Aram mo ba partner na ang theme ta ngunyan is Sibol which means growth or to
sprout. It tells us about our growth as students and a new chapter that we are going to face this
academic year.

Louise: Kaya nandito tayo ngayon, because this Orientation seminar aims to introduce the
school policies, to familiarize ourselves on the mission and visions of the school, and to know
more about the Dominican School of Calabanga.

Opening Prayer

Herbert: To formally start our program, may I call Ms. Vaniessa Joyce Quirente to lead us in
prayer. Please all stand.

Louise: Please be seated.

Opening Remarks

Herbert: To welcome us all, may I call our Student Council President Ms. Vaness Franchiska
Paglinawan to formally open the program.

Herbert: Garo baga malumbayon sinda, partner?

Louise: Iyo ngani, partner. I think need ta ning pampabuhay para lamang mabuhayan sinda.

Herbert: Since agree ka, partner. Let us all stand for the Zumba to be led by our fellow SC
Members.

Louise: Ako man! Garo deserve ta ning juice?

Herbert: Iyong gayo, partner! Tsaka warm up pa sana yan dakol pa kitang hahalaton na pasabog
for this event.

Presentation of Policies

Louise: May I call Sir Benjamin Sargento to discuss the School Policies.

Herbert: Thank you, Sir Benj!

Louise: Nadangog mo to, partner? So, dapat diyan sunudan ta talaga yan.

Herbert: Trew ka diyan, partner. Tsaka para sato man yan, mayo man maraot if masunod kita.

Interview

Louise: How about maghanap kita ning students to interview, partner? Siguraduhon ta lang
kung naintindihan ba talaga ninda.

Herbert: Iyong gayo, partner! Garo may nahiling ako diyan na siguradong nakaintindi talaga
kang sinarabi ni Sir Benj.

Interview Questions

 State mo ang name and age mo.

Herbert: Now, we look forward on the presentation of the School and PE Uniform.

JHS: April & Divine

Louise: As students it is our obligation to always abide the school rules especially the dress
code. For Junior high school girls, it must consist of white blouse with school logo, blue skirt
with fine white stripes, necktie, id, white socks, and black shoes. For Senior High school girls,
cream polo with school logo and ribbon, blue slacks with fine white stripes, white socks, id, and
black shoes.

SHS: Sean & Nicholo

Herbert: As students, we must maintain a proper haircut especially for the boys. For Junior High
school boys, it must consist of white polo with the school logo, navy blue pants, id, white socks,
and black shoes. For Senior High school boys, cream polo with school logo, blue long pants with
fine stripes, id, white socks, and black pants.

SHS: Jonash

PE UNIFORM

Louise: As you can see, they may look similar, the difference is seen at the top part located in
the shoulders. Junior Highschool PE Uniform has a black line located in the shoulders and black
pants with a DSC name on it.

Herbert: For senior high school PE uniform, it has a fully covered black on both sides located in
the shoulders. They also have black pants with a DSC name on it.

Snacks (10 mins)

Herbert: Sa arog kong gutomon, ini ang pinaka fav part ko sa event na ini and guess what?

All: Kainan na!

Louise: The SC will provide free juice to everyone. So ang mga paha na, mag gora na kamo diyan
sa Juice station.

Herbert: Trew ka diyan, Partner! Since may saro pang part kang program na nakaka-excite
talaga, kung ako saindo, mainom talaga ako kayang juice na yan! Tsaka paha naman ako, partner.
Introduction of Teachers

Vaness: Snack time is done! Please be seated to move on to the next part of the program which
is the introduction of teachers led by Madam Ruth

Herbert: Madam Ruth will introduce the teachers on each subject and the advisers of the
specific rooms.

Vaness: Thank you, Madam Ruth, for introducing our amazing teachers!

Amazing Race

Vaness: Ini ang pinaka-highlight this orsem which is the Games! Digdi magkakabiristuhan kamo
and makakacreate kamo ning memorable experience for you guys to cherish. Ready kana ba,
Partner?

Herbert: Yes na yes naman, partner. So, introduce ta na ba kung ano ang game na ini and guess
what? May prizes siya, partner. Patiribayan talaga ni!

Vaness: Very exciting naman yan, partner.

Herbert: So ang game na ini is the Amazing Race where it consists of 5 stations and may mga
designated places siya where you need to complete a task for you to create the logo.

Vaness: And after completing the task sa station, you have to go sa another station to complete
another task hanggang makaaabot kamo sa last station and macomplete si logo.

Herbert: Kebs nindo ba ito guys. I think keribels man, no?

Vaness: Kayang kaya ninda yan!

Announcement of Winners

Herbert: Ini na talaga, yaon na sako ang group na nagana sa Amazing Race.

Vaness: Kiisay na group daw kaya yan partner, no?

Herbert: So ang group na nagana sa Amazing Race is… Wait! Napapaha ako, partner. Tubig pls.

Herbert: Okay na sensya, guys! So ang group na nagana is… Group #! Congratulatios, Group#!

Vaness: Congratulations, Group #! Please come infront and claim your prizes!

Closing Remarks:
Herbert: To formally end the program, may I call Madam Christine Borela.

Vaness: Thank you to Madam Tine, Teachers, Students, fellow SC Members, Sisters, and Staffs
for making this event successful. Thank you, freshmen and transferees, for attending this
Orientation. Now, it is the end of the event.

All: I am Vaness A. Paglinawan and I am Herbert A. Briones wishing you all a great school year

Campus Tour

Vaness: We are going to divide two groups.

Herbert: The first group will be led by Ate Athea and Ate Vaness.

Vaness: The second group will be led by Me and Ate Princess. We also have stop and go signs in
order for you guys be properly guided.

Herbert: The first group will go to the Elementary Department and for the other group will go to
the Highschool Department.
