Narrator: This is the story of two professionals who, despite not
succeeding in their initial careers, discover their true passions and
ultimately achieve success. We hope you enjoy our presentation.
Skit starts
Narrator: Dhruv, an engineer at a software firm, is working tirelessly to
meet his project deadlines.
Boss (Ronit): Hi Dhruv, I hope you're ready for the presentation tomorrow.
Please don’t screw up.
Dhruv: It's not really coming together.
Boss: Please don’t let us down again.
Dhruv: Sure, I'll try my best.
Narrator: The next day...
Dhruv presents his project to Akshay and Anish, who are the board
members.
Anish and Akshay: We don’t really like the project; we need you to work
out a better version.
Dhruv: Okay (sad).
Starts walking to the center of the stage slowly.
Narrator: Meanwhile, we have Aryan, an unaspiring artist who lacks the
motivation to succeed but needs to make a living.
Aryan: Oh no, it's not coming together.
Rips off painting.
Starts walking to the center of the stage.
Both bump into each other.
Aryan: Hey man, watch where you're going.
Dhruv: Sorry man, had a bad day at work.
Aryan: Oh, not a big deal. Looks like a software engineer. I've always
wanted to become one.
Dhruv: Damn, that’s crazy. What do you do?
Aryan: I'm a painter. I just don’t seem to have the creativity in me.
Dhruv: I've always wanted to become a painter. Want to swap jobs for a
day?
Aryan: Seems interesting. Sure.
Go to opposite workstations.
Narrator: The next day...
Both show the work to each other.
Aryan: This is the project which I made. Look.
Dhruv: Damn, that’s crazy. That's better than anything else I did.
Aryan: And look what you have done, nothing short of a masterpiece.
Dhruv: I think this idea has worked. Want to continue like this
permanently?
Aryan: Sure.
Shake hands.
Narrator: This story illustrates that creativity is a hidden talent within
everyone, waiting for the right opportunity to shine.
