ULTRASOUND KUB
RT. KIDNEY:
· It shows compensatory enlargement.
· It measures 128 x 46 mm in bipolar length and parenchymal thickness is 21 mm.
· Parenchymal echogenicity is normal.
· Cortico-medullary differentiation is intact.
· No mass or cyst is seen.
· No calculus or hydronephrosis is seen.
LT. KIDNEY:
· It is not visualized (H/O nephrectomy).
URINARY BLADDER:
· It is distended.
· Wall thickness is normal.
· No stone or mass is noted.
· Pre void urine volume is 378 ml with post void urine volume of 288 ml.

IMPRESSION

· Surgical removal of left kidney with compensatory enlargement of right kidney.


· Significant PVRU of 288 ml requires further work-up through cystoscopy to rule outlet
obstruction. Correlation with urine R/E is also suggested.
· Please correlate clinically.
