📜 Final Task: Letter to Your Future Self – A Pledge for a Sustainable Earth in 2060

Objective:
Write a heartfelt and visionary letter to your future self, imagining the year is 2060. Reflect on
how you will help prepare the world—your own way—to be a better, greener, and more
sustainable place for future generations. Consider your personal actions, values, and commitment
to protecting Mother Earth as you grow and take responsibility for shaping the future.

Instructions:

1. Start with a warm greeting to your future self in the year 2060. You may briefly
describe how old you are at that time and where you imagine yourself living or working.
2. Reflect on the present (2025):
o What do you currently know and feel about the condition of the Earth?
o What environmental challenges concern you the most (e.g., climate change,
pollution, deforestation, extinction of species, waste)?
3. Make a personal promise:
o Write about the small and big actions you plan to take starting now to help heal
and protect the planet.
o These could include eco-friendly habits (like reducing plastic use or planting
trees), career goals (becoming a climate scientist, teacher, or green entrepreneur),
or advocacy (promoting awareness in your community).
4. Envision the future (2060):
o Describe the kind of sustainable world you hope to see by then.
o What technologies, lifestyles, or values do people practice caring for the Earth?
o What role did you play in achieving this vision?
5. End with hope and encouragement:
o Leave your future self a reminder to stay committed to protecting nature.
o Share a message that can inspire both your future self and future generations to
keep fighting for a greener, kinder planet.

Tips:

 Write with emotion and honesty. Make it personal and inspiring.

 You may use poetic language or vivid imagery to describe your dreams for the Earth.
 Aim for 300–500 words.
