With the above aforementioned information, the researchers desired to conduct the

study to find out the effects of self-learning modules in the academic performance of
South East Asian Institute of Technology.

Statement of the Problem:

Generally, this study seeks to determine the effects of self-learning materials in

South East Asia Institute Technology, Inc amidst of Covid-19

1. What are the effects of self - learning modules to the respondents in terms of:

1.1 anxiety

1.2 self- esteem

1.3 self- concept

2. What is the academic performance of 2nd year BSED ENGLISH students

amidst covid-19?

3. Is there any significant relationship between the effects of self-learning

modules and academic performance of 2nd year BSED ENGLISH students of

SEAIT?

Significance of the Study

This study is seen to have direct significance to the following:

Administrators. The outcomes of the research may contribute in determining

and understanding the effects of self-learning modules in the academic performance of

students. They may utilize the result of the study as basis on planning the best learning

environment to the students.
