FASTEN THE INTERMEDIATE BRACKETS GOING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM DO NOT
TRAVEL IN CAR FRAME IN THE HOISTWAY IF GUIDE RAILS ARE LOOSE.
INSTALLATION OF GUIDE RAIL PLUMB LINES
- Install the tools for the plumb lines at the height of the top guide rail bracket.
POTENTIAL RISKS
- Drop two plumb lines and fasten them to the tools.
- Falls
- Injuries caused by falling objects - Drop a plumb line from the top rail bracket. Make a notch for the plumb line (see
detail).
- Injuries caused by flying particles from drilling
- Eye injuries caused by electrical welding.
- Injuries handling sharp-edged metal sheets DETAIL 1A
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
- Use the safety harness where necessary.
- Wear safety glasses.
- Use the welding mask correctly. FIRST BRACKET
- Wear protective gloves.
RAIL BRACKET CONFIGURATIONS
Install the rail bracket configurations A-B-C, according to the instructions in the installation drawing.

PIT: FIRST BRACKET AND FASTENING PLUMB LINES
PLUMB LINES
- Access the pit and place the tools for fastening the plumb lines at the height
of the first bracket, just opposite the clips.
- Install bolt M8x35 with 3 nuts (detail 2A) on combined rail bracket.
- Drop the two plumb lines and stop them swinging.
- Completely remove the rail brackets (with the guide rail fastening clips tightened)
- Move the bracket until the guide rails are in the correct position.
- When the plumb lines pass through the slots of the plumbing tools and the
plumb line shown in detail 2A passes at the distance shown, tighten up the RAILS TEMPLATE
bolts of the rail brackets.
- Check the complete bracket and support is aligned with the car guide rail
on the opposite side. 1st BRACKET
- Re-check that the plumb line wires pass through the grooves and, if this is
the case, tighten the bolts firmly and tie the wires to the tools.

INSTALLATION OF THE GUIDE RAIL BRACKETS
- Taking plumb lines Y and Z as references, fasten the bracket supports
to the wall. INSTALLATION OF ANCHORAGES
- Distance D is the same for the bottom and top brackets. Use a 350mm drill bit and an anchor bolt tool to drill the holes and install the anchorages.
- Install the rail bracket support on the governor side using a set
square.
- Mount the rail bracket but do not tighten the bolts of the supports.
Tighten the bolts of the clips.

- Fasten the headers of the template on the guide rails and check that REMOVING SKATES AND INSTALLING COUNTERWEIGHT
they fit correctly, as close as possible to the bracket.
ROLLERS OR GUIDESHOES
- Move the guide rails and the supports until the marks on the template On reaching halfway up the rise, fastening guide rails, remove the counterweight skates

- Check the dimension shown in the drawing of the combined rail bracket
