OSPF Router types overview:


1. Internal Routers
 The router which all interfaces configured be in one area

2. Backbone Routers
 The router which even one link is configured in Area 0

3. ABR Router ( Area Border Router )


 The router which connect two Area together
 One interface is configured in AREA-0 another interface configured to any area #

4. ASBR Router ( Autonyms system Boundary Router )


 The router which connect Two routing protocol together
 Means one interface configured in OSFP another interface configured another routing protocol
 This router learn networks from non-OSPF router like ( EIGRP , RIP )
 And forwarded to OSPF router
 Means Redistribution Router
