Introduction
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals adopted by the
UnitedNations in 2015. They aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all.
These goals are interconnected and require the efforts of everyone, including children, to achieve.
They serve as a universal plan to improve the world by 2030.
These goals aim to:
•End poverty: Ensure everyone has access to basic needs like food, shelter, and
healthcare.
•Protect the planet: Promote actions to address climate change, conserve natural
resources, and reduce pollution.
•Ensure prosperity for all: Provide equal opportunities for quality education, decent work,
and a better quality of life for everyone.
The SDGs are a call to action for governments, organizations, and individuals to work
together to create a fair, healthy, and sustainable future for people and the planet.
