Find a tool to create a own cloud or find a simulator where you can create a cloud environment.

Solution

The tool I’ll be working with is ownCloud. The name I have chosen is Axxent Cloud. It's a cost-effective
and customizable alternative to commercial cloud services, offering features like file sharing,
collaboration tools, and a range of extensions, making it an ideal choice for those who prioritize data
control and privacy.

Create your OWN cloud, your cloud should contain unique name of your group, like “TIGER CLOUD”, in

Tiger cloud contain some of those services which you have study in assignment 1, where cloud providers

provide services to the clients, Tiger cloud I will access from home / office, where do any changes like

DOWNLOAD, DELETE, ADD, and UPDATE files.

First open your virtual machine and start the ucs with ownCloud. Choose your settings and
complete the installation.
Access the ownCloud using your browser.
Activate it with your license sent to your email.
Login as administrator

Update your ownCloud server and reboot.

Next select ownCloud from applications and login using default username and password
(‘owncloud’). It will take you to your main ownCloud drive page.
Setup your root user profile and SMTP server for emails.

Add new users with their username and email. You can furthermore reset their password, add them
to a group and assign them a quota.

Open another browser and type in your IPv4 address. Login into you ownCloud from applications
using the new user that you just created.

Solution

Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) or ownCloud can be used your personal cloud in the vast world of the
internet. It's like having a secure, isolated haven within a public cloud. In this digital sanctuary, VPC
customers have the freedom to run programs, store their precious data, launch websites, and pretty much
do everything they would in a typical private cloud. The unique twist is that this private cloud is not
physically on your premises; instead, it's securely hosted by a public cloud provider.

Not all private clouds follow this remote hosting model, so a VPC is a special hybrid. It marries the
flexibility and convenience of public cloud services with the cozy, confidential feel of a private cloud
environment. It's the best of both worlds, allowing you to enjoy the advantages of public cloud computing
while keeping your data and operations secluded from the prying eyes of the digital world.
