Resetting Antenna

Air grid m5 unidirectional antenna and Rocket M5

1) Power the antenna via POE and use a hard reset button located in the back of the
antenna for about 10-15 seconds. You will see all the LEDs blinking.

Configuring Antenna

Air grid m5 unidirectional antenna

1) Connect the antenna to POE and LAN of a Computer/Laptop.


2) Go to control panel network settings and network and sharing center

3) Open ethernet settings and select properties and double click Internet protocol version
4 and set Static Ip for the antenna as follows and save.
4) Open Chrome and search for ubiquiti discovery tool and add it to your extension.
5) Now open the tool and click scan it will automatically detect the airgrid antenna.

6) Click on the host Ip Address and the webpage will open (it prompt that its not secure
dont worry about it and proceed)
7) Now you will be asked to enter credentials for the first time.
Username - ubnt
Password - ubnt
Country- INDIA
Language- english
8) Now you will be in the home page which looks like this

9) Go to the system and change device name, admin name and password and remember
it! And save it in our bitwarden account. Also change the time zone!!(POSITIVELY
NEVER UNCLICK RESET BUTTON!!!)

10) And press change and click apply changes in the page.
11) Now go to network page and set the connection type as access point, enable
transparent bridge mode then edit the ssid name and add security as wpa2-aes and add
password

12) Go to Network and Set Static Ip for the Antenna.

13) Everything is done and now configure the Rocket m5 antenna
Rocket M5 Antenna

1) Follow the above steps


2) In network setting use different IP for both antenna
For rocket m5 we used [Link]

3) In the wireless page, set the wireless mode as a station.


4) Now save and apply the changes and connect the antennas to two different computers
and set static on both computers and try to ping each other.
