The love of our grandmother was unique. She was not just a grandmother to
us but a mother, guardian, friend and inspiration to [Link] is with heavy hearts
that we stand here today to bid farewell to our cherished grandmother.
Your death came to us as a big blow because we never expected it. Even
though we are in pain and sorrow, we still celebrate a life well lived. Fond
memories of you will always remain in our hearts and minds [Link] will
never forget how you played a motherly role in our lives right from when we
were very little. You took great care of us, groomed and nurtured us to
become responsible and disciplined adults we are today.
You believed in us, took in all your grandchildren, great grandchildren and
others with affection.
Old lady, we can never forget story times with your great
grandchildren. You shared 'Ananse' stories with them at every opportunity
you had. Your favorite words “Onipa yɛ dɛ nanso yɛnwe ne nam” will forever
stay with us.
Words will fail us in expressing how grateful we are to you for the many
times you have supported us with advice as to how to be economical and
living within our means. You showed great care as well as ensuring peace
and unity among [Link] lady, you lived a fulfilling life here on earth and you
have gone ahead of us, called in the glory of our Lord till we meet again.
Rest well in the bosom of the Good Lord. Rest in perfect peace, we
love you always.
