Holiday Homework (2025-26)
Class- 5th
Instructions: Holiday homework is to be done and submitted in a separate Notebook.
1. Write and learn number names from 1 to 300.
2. Write and learn table from 2 to 25.
3. Do practice of chapter 1 and 2.
4. Do daily practice of division and multiplication (5 each).
Instructions: Holiday homework is to be done on an A4 size sheet and to be submitted in a file.
1. Collect or draw pictures of any four types of houses (kutcha, pucca, stilt, houseboat). Write
where each one is found and why that’s design suits the location.
2. Make a collage or poster showing the causes and effects of air pollution. Write 5 ways we can
reduce air pollution in our daily lives.
3. Choose one Endangered Animal (e.g., Tiger, Rhinoceros, Snow Leopard).
Write:
● Where it is found
● Why it is Endangered
● How can we help to protect it
● Paste or draw a picture.
4. Track your daily water usage for 3 days (Bathing, Drinking, Washing). Record in a table
format. Write 5 ideas about how can you save much water.
5. Choose your state or any other Indian state. Write about it’s one popular festival, traditional
Food and one famous heritage site.
Instructions for Parents:
● Encourage your child to do the homework independently with a little guidance.
● Encourage independent thinking, creativity, and use of recycled materials wherever
possible.

Imagine that we are going to live with robots in near future. Robots become part of
our family and helping us in our daily life. For ex. Doing our homework, cleaning
our house etc. and write your views about it.
Activity-

Make a chart on early calculating devices
