here in Tandag Town Hall Grounds, Tandag City.
Today, we honor the life and legacy of our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. To start our
program, we will have a 21 Gun-Salute by the 36th Infantry Battalion, 4th Infantry
Division, led by LTCOL Vincent M. Guiray, Commanding Officer.

On the 30th day of December yearly, the whole nation observes the death anniversary of
our great national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. This is to commemorate the nationalism and
martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal which is highlighted by the raising of the Philippine flag,
wreath laying-ceremonies with a 21-gun salute, which we just witnessed a while ago.
