What is rhombus? Real life objects:
A rhombus is a quadrilateral where
all four sides are equal in length,
meaning it’s a diamond-shaped
figure with opposite sides parallel to
eachother.
It can also be defined as a
parallelogram with opposite equal
acute angles, opposite equal obtuse
angles, and four equal sides.
Properties of rhombus
Has four sides with equal length
Angles:
Opposites are equal
Adjacents are supplementary
Each pair of opposite sides is parallel

Diagonals:
Intersect at right angles
Bisect each other (divide each other into 2 sides)
Has two lines of symmetry, coincides with its diagonals
Perimeter Formula

P = 4s
P = perimeter
s = length of one side
Example
Find the perimeter of Answer:

Area Formula
