Abstract

Mobile phones are very practical devices that are now a need in today's world. They
keep us organized and safe, connect us to loved ones both near and far, and give us
access to a multitude of information and entertainment. The researchers aim is to
determine the effect of mobile phones on academic performance of grade 11
learners in Pilar Technical Vocational High School for the S.Y. 2024-2025. This
study sought to answer the following questions:[Link] are the effects of mobile
phones on academic performance of Grade 11 Learners of Pilar Technical
Vocational High School for the S.Y.2024-2025 in terms of: a. Academic performance
b. Interaction competency c. Smartphone self-efficacy d. Behavioral intention to Use
Smartphone 2. What is the Academic Performance of Grade 11 Students? 3. Is
there a significant relationship between the influence of mobile phone usage on
academic performance? This study employs a quantitative, correlational research
design to investigate the relationship between mobile phone usage and academic
performance among Grade 11 learners. The computed value of r is 1 which indicate
a perfect positive correlation between mobile phone usage and academic
performance of grade 11 students. The study found out that there's a correlational
between the Mobile phone and the Academic performance of grade 11 students. It is
hereby highly recommended that, t

eachers should monitor and track students mobile phone usage patterns to identify
any negative and positive impact on their academic performance.
