Import ENC and Update database
How to find HW_ID
Click the menu bar "Tool->Parameter”
choose the “user”, then click “OK”.
the HW_ID number will be shown as follow.
Remeber this HM_ID No. (26FA3,This is a unique number for each
equipment).
Import ENC
1、 Click “Map”-“Chart Manager” and Click on the “Import ENC.
2. Press the Store HW ID button
3. Complete to store HW ID through pressing the Store button.
[Link] the Permits button, Installed permits dialog will appear.
[Link] Install permits button, an open dialog will appear.
[Link] can select the permit file(*.txt) from the local position. Then press “Open” .
7. The permit information will appear. It include DataProvider ID, Cell name
and Expiration date.
Import ENC
(1).Enter the database name under the GeoDatabase name.
(2).Select your desired database from Path to ENC. Select the ENC_ROOT on
DVD, there is a ENC_ROOT folder under every folder.
(3).Select the database destination path to save the ENC database (you can create a
new folder to save it).
(4).Press the Execute button to complete it.
When it finished, the chart you named will be showed in the dialog “Registered
databases”.
Now choose the chart which you imported, and click “Add To View”, the chart will
be displayed on the screen.
Update database
[Link] Map–>Chart Manager…. Click on the Databases
2. Select the database you want to update.
3. Press Update database button.
4. On popup dialogue, select the ENC_ROOT folder(under B1-B9) from ENC DVD
[Link] the button，finish.
PLAN A NEW ROUTE
The "Route Plan" window
(1)Click the icon and the below window will be shown. Please input the "Route
Name", "From Port" and "To Port". Then click "Save" to continue the next step.
(2)The below window will appear when the "Save" is clicked. Please click the Sea
Chart by left key of mouse to create the waypoint. Every chosen point coordinate will
be recorded in the "Route Planning-Configuration" window automatically. Besides,
you can add the waypoint manually in the route waypoint list of the " Route
Planning-Configuration" window.
(3)When all the route points are chosen, please choose the "Check Routes" as
below picture to check whether the route will cross the dangerous area or
warning area.
(4)Then click to start the route point checking, which this button means
"Danger Area”. If there is the dangerous area or the other alarm area . The
related notice will be shown on the window. Double click the list, and the warning
area will be shown on the sea chart.
(5)When the warning message is shown, we should adjust the route point.
Please choose the point by left key of mouse, and drag it out of dangerous area.
Then click the left key of mouse once again to confirm the new point position. At
last click to save the route plan.
Click " " and the below window will appear. Please click the "OK" and the route
plan is saved successfully.
Modify the route
(1)Click" " and the below window will appear, now you can click" "to delete
or add a point. Then click" "to move up/down the waypoint.
(2)In addition, you can use the left key of mouse move to add a new point.
Click" "to reverse the route
The "route" area is used to create and amend the route.
When the “ Route admin” window appears, please click “No”, otherwise, the route
will be lost.

Export and import a route
As navigation routes. When it is clicked, the navigation will start.
