WH-questions are questions that start with words that usually begin with "wh.

" These words


ask for specific information.
1. What: Used to ask about things or information.

o Example: What is your name?


2. Where: Used to ask about places.
o Example: Where do you live?
3. When: Used to ask about time.

o Example: When is your birthday?


4. Who: Used to ask about people.
o Example: Who is your favorite teacher?
5. Why: Used to ask about reasons or motives.

o Example: Why are you late?


6. Which: Used to ask about choices between options.
o Example: Which color do you prefer?
7. How: Used to ask about manner, quantity, or condition.
o Example: How are you? How much does it cost?

Examples of questions with answers:


1. What is your favorite food?
o My favorite food is pizza.
2. Where do you go to school?

o I go to school in Luanda.
3. When do you usually wake up?
o I usually wake up at 7:00 AM.
4. Who is your best friend?

o My best friend is Maria.


5. Why are you studying English?
o I am studying English to travel and work abroad.
