The line graph illustrates the number of university

graduates in Canada from 1992 to 2007.

While the amount of Canada’s university graduates


shown, it can be clearly seen that female graduates
were higher than the male ones during that period. As
it is presented in the graph, the number of female
graduates significantly went up from 100,000 people in
the beginning and continued to climb to nearly 150,000
graduated people in 2006. In contrast, compared with
female graduates, male ones increase slowly. In 1996,
university graduates fell but not significantly.

As well as the line graph shown, a sudden growth in


the number of graduates is for females, with a jump
reaching at around 150,000 people in just 4 years from
2002 to 2006.

Both male and female graduates have unstable


changes from year to year. But in summary, they still
grew continuously in period of 3 years from 2002 to
2006.
