Heart Disease Prediction Using Machine Learning
Techniques: An AI Approach to Preventive Healthcare
ABSTRACT
This paper presents a machine learning-based approach to
predict the likelihood of heart disease in individuals using
key medical parameters such as age, cholesterol level,
blood pressure, chest pain type, and more.
Leveraging algorithms like Logistic Regression, Decision
Trees, and Random Forest, the study identifies patterns in
patient data to forecast potential risks. The model was
trained and tested on a publicly available dataset,
achieving high accuracy in classification and offering real-
time decision support for healthcare professionals. This
AI-powered system emphasises the importance of
preventive healthcare, enabling early diagnosis and
reducing human error.
The research was validated and published in the
International Journal of Research Publication and Reviews
(IJRPR), showcasing its scientific merit and practical
impact.
