relies heavily on grid energy or fossil fuels, making it costly and unsustainable.
Fixed irrigation schedules lead to significant water wastage.
[Link] Opportunity: Solar power is a clean, renewable energy source perfect for
remote farms. Its efficiency can be dramatically increased with sun-tracking
technology.
3. Our Solution: We combine a smart, sensor-driven irrigation system with an
energy-efficient solar tracker to create a fully autonomous, resource-conserving

NOVELTY FEATURES / FINDINGS
•Integrated Efficiency: The system's main innovation is the successful
fusion of automated irrigation with solar tracking, maximizing both water
and energy efficiency in a single design.
•Cost-Effective Design: Uses low-cost, readily available components,
making advanced automation accessible for small-scale farmers.
ACTUAL CIRCUIT/ DESIGNED SYSTEM •Complete Autonomy: Functions entirely off-grid, providing a resilient
solution for remote areas without reliable access to electricity.
•Data-Driven Operation: Replaces guesswork with precise, real-time data
to conserve resources and improve crop health
CONCLUSIONS
This study successfully demonstrates that integrating a sun-tracking solar
panel with a sensor-based irrigation system creates a highly effective and
sustainable agricultural solution. The system yields significant gains in
energy efficiency and water conservation. Its low-cost, modular design is
