I'd like to begin by acknowledging the Traditional
Owners of the land on which we meet today. I
would also like to pay my respects to Elders past
and present.
Hi I’m Kimia and we have gathered here today to look
through my learning process.
My homeroom teacher here today is Mrs
Johnston/Swinfield.
My Dad, Kevin.
My Mum, Sami.
1- I never have any struggle making friends or
socialising.
2- I am smart and like participating in class.
3- I look forward to going to school every day and am
always bright and smiley during the day
So, this is by far my best assignment. We created carts
out of wood and other materials at the beginning of the
year, in term 1.
I was proud of this because I got full marks for both the
MAKE unit, and the JUSTIFY unit.
It was a very long process full of ups and downs, one
was getting over my fear of the engineering machines.
And it needed many steps to finish, including drawing
thumbnails, and diagrams of how this design was
aerodynamic and more.
I don’t have my design of the aerodynamic justification
as it is on display in the TMA rooms.
My speech for geography on natural disasters could
definitely use a few tweaks here and there. I personally
don’t cope well with public speaking, so
I could for sure improve on my eye contact and
presentation.
I could have maybe synced my canva presentation with
my speech for a better mark.
That is why I believe that this assignment geve me an
opportunity to improve. (20/30)
My myb project was based on creating an aboriginal
totem to represent me and my characteristics, both
mentally and physically.
Truthfully, most of the students took a quiz to find a
good representation of themselves, as did I.
I was happy with my marks, but I think I could have
improved a little bit more with being creative about the
symbols I used in my poster.
I had good detail and explanations for why I chose the
symbols and the butterfly to represent me.
I chose my lino art in Visual Art. It was definitely the
most fun out of all of them, especially during the
carving period.
There may have been a few injuries and ups and downs
but still it was for sure very fun and the most enjoyable.
The carving was a bit hard to adapt to but afterwards I
coped pretty well.
The process was very long and tiring but in the end I
was, without a doubt VERY happy with my work.
1- I could work on my public speaking and overcome
my fear of talking in front of many people.
2- I could try to improve my time management on
assignments so I won’t need to panic before the due
date.
3- I can improve my learning by focusing more in class
or to look ahead on the units work to have better
understanding of the unit.
