☞ Turn off the power supply before you start inspection of the controller.
And then Lock-out must be install the power supply switch.
☞ Be careful not to touch the power unit while discharge, even if you turn off the power
supply.
It normally takes 20 to 30 minutes to discharge.

1.2. Cleanliness
a. Remove all PCBs
b. Vacuum loose dust and dirt from the control panel.
a) Use compressed air to blow out dirt only when necessary.
b) Doing so could cause flying dust and debris to contaminate the controller, for grit and
grime, use a tack cloth to trap and remove dirt.
1.3. Looseness
Tighten the fixing bolts, if they are loose.

PDL uses LDC and LDP to detect car position. Even
through car slip because of power failure during traveling, it
can count and save exactly the car position data with
DOR-230 PCB's function also exists

car stops. So if main power is ensured again, car can start
with high speed from that position. PDL communicates with

e. Added functions
a) Motor temperature detection (PT100 resister (platinum): only for DI5 model)
This detection circuit is configured to send a signal to operation control CPU whether
motor is overheated or not.
Standard type of DOR-231 PCB ASY (drawing: AEG03C610*A) has not temperature
sensor circuit part. This circuit is applied to expansion type of DOR-230 PCB ASY
(Drawing : AEG00C160*B) and DOR-231 PCB Asy(drawing : AEG03C610*B)
PCB external sensor for temperature detection is PT100 (platinum resister). 3 of
resistors are wired as serial and installed at motor. One line is for 17th pin (MTRH-1) of
INB connector, the another is for 18th pin(MTRH-2) in DOR-231 PCB Asy(drawing:
AEG03C610*B) It needs to protect noise from external sensor through ground that is
effect on other PCB
(a) Power for Motor temperature detection circuit: PC15 (DC +15[V]) , AC17[V]
change to 15Vdc. (Single phase rectification => Voltage Regulation) AC17[V] come
from 19th pin and 20th pin of INB connector in expansion type of DOR-231 PCB

(Drawing: AEG03C610*B)
(b) It decides that motor temperature is too high and gives signal to Operation CPU.
For the insulation, it uses photo-coupler.
b) Function of PDL (Detection and save of car position in power failure)
(a) PDL Part power supply
* In normal power: SMPS supplies V5 (DC +5[V]), Power Source supplies V24 (DC
+24[V])
* In power failure: Battery Asy. VBAT (10.8 ~ 14.5[V]) step down V5 through VRG2
(LM2576T-5) VBAT step up V24 through DDC1 (MC34063A).
(b) Floor counting function by LDC & LDP
Floor count condition: LDP should be “ON” status only
• When LDC input signal changed form “ON” to “OFF” (Door Open Zone
entering) ⇒ UP direction count increases.
• When LDC input signal changes from “OFF” to “ON” (Door Open Zone
escaping) ⇒ DOWN direction count decreases.
(c) Buzzer ringing when motor brake opened manually.
The sequence for buzzer ringing to check car is at door open zone when motor
brake opened after power failure.
(d) When it passes 30second after power failure. DC+24V for LDC and LDP power
supply will be cut automatically. Therefore in case motor brake open required, 1st
pin of SW4 must be toggled to supply DC+24V to LDC and LDP. Then buzzer
ringing is possible.
(⇒Door open zone checking is possible by floor counting)
A condition, to stop the buzzer ringing when car position is out of open zone, toggle
the 1st pin of SW4. It is possible to toggle again to operate buzzer

n. Battery Asy. (3X07472A; 12V, 1000mAh, Ni-Cd Battery Asy.) Handling caution
a) Reversed installation
When the Battery Asy is connected to DOR-231 PCB, be careful not to reversed. If
the battery connection is reversed, some electric part would be blown up. Therefore,
it must be corrected immediately in a few second. To check this wrong connection,
LED12 (red) where located on between BAT connector and CCN2 connector
indicates this faults LED12 in DOR-231 PCB must ‘OFF’ in normal condition.
b) Protecting of over discharge
Separate the Battery Asy from BAT connector in case that main power can not
supplied to CP for a long time because of transportation or long time installation or
maintenance.
Be careful that Battery Asy might not to discharge too much during power failure and
low voltage detecting condition. Short time power failure would not effect on Battery
Asy. But this status maintains about 2 or 3days, Battery Asy shall be over discharged.

f. DCL-244 PCB
a) DCL-244 PCB is car operation PCB (CLON) mounted with MC143150BIFU neuron chip.
The main function is same as DCL-240 PCB
(a) It is Installed in OPB under single elevator and forms a serial communication
network with CNL LON of CP
(b) It detects call button in car, open, close and ex_open (elongates door close time for
3 minutes and closes the door regardless of door time with a close button
registration) buttons, control board switch, on car connection box switch input, and
carload, and it transmits them into DOC PCB through network.
(c) It controls car call B/T, open, close and ex_open response lamp and Up/Down
direction lamp, full lamp, CPI, and car-chime (gong) with displaying commands
through the network of DOC PCB.
(d) The additional command signals from CP that are related with door are transmitted
to DCD PCB. And it receives some error signals of door through parallel
communication for easy installation & maintenance
(e) It transmits voice synthesis guide data to the voice synthesis board in OPB through
LCD connector.

★ Note1 : After installation with low machine room temperature, door error may occur at
initial power input, but, after 10-20 minutes, error will be cleaned.
★ Note2: If door speed is not normal even though dip-switch adjustment, Check the CLS and
OLS signal or in cage of rear door, replace the rotary encoder phase.
★ Note3 : If photo sensor does not work, check that the used contact is normally close or
open. Most of case, photosensor contact is normal close from factory. So it needs to modify
its contact to normal open in jobsite.
★ Note4 : Jumper the safety shoe(Left,Right) with P48V in DCD-30M. And connect the safety
shoe signal line to communication board on car top. And it needs to set I/O for this signal. If
there line was not jumpered, car door will not close.
