Script Short Story

After hearing a sound, Mrs. Foster unlocks the door and sprints to
the elevator.
Mrs. Foster
-Eugene, is everything all right?

Mr. Foster
-I’m fine, my darling. It’s the elevator. It must have broken. Could
you call someone to fix it? I don’t think it will take to much time.

Mrs. Foster
-No! I’m running out of time. I won’t be able to get to the airport!

Mr. Foster
-Wait, I’m sure there's plenty of time.

Mrs. Foster
-No, there isn’t plenty of time, I told you to not be late! You know that
this is very important to me.I know you've been doing this on
purpose. You know I fear being late for things, but you always insist
on leaving at the last moment. You’ve been tormenting me for years
now!

Mr. Foster
-How dare you say that to me. I give you everything, I even paid the
the entire travel for you to see our family. I would never do this on
purpose. You know how much I care about you. I didn’t know how
much it upsets you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have done it.

Mrs. Foster
Really? .I’m sorry, I was out of my mind. I truly thought that you did it
on purpose. Just wait a second, i’m calling for help.
MRS. FOSTER turns her back to the elevator, closes the door and
calls the chauffeur.

Mrs. Foster
Chauffeur! I’m leaving, don't worry about Eugene, he’s going to get a
cab. Hurry to the airport!
