1.
My business is a law firm called Aggarwal and partners, estate and
probate litigation.
2. How exactly did I come up with this business idea. So, we were given a AI
generated quiz to do and the questions that resonated the most to me or
the ones that I felt the most strongly about were all C's. You can see some
of them on the slide. If you got C's the most it said you would excel in
Education, Public Relations, or Communication. As soon as I saw public
relations the first thing that I could think of was a law firm and then I
thought more about what type of law I am interested in and then decided
on will contests, hence I decided on a estate and probate litigation law
firm.
3. The next step was choosing our business name. I originally put a
description of my business and asked ChatGPT to create an appropriate
name. This did not work that well and none of the names created were
really that good. Then asked it to give names of similar firms that existed, I
took inspiration from them and then came up with the name Aggarwal and
partners probate litigation firm. I asked ChatGPT to refine it and it came up
with the name Aggarwal & Partners: Estate and Probate Litigation.
4. To then get a mission statement I put a brief description of my law firm
and asked ChatGPT for a mission statement, they were quite good but
quite long and not as impactful so I them refined the prompt and asked it
to make it impactful and concise while also including an element of
pathos. It them came up with a few more mission statements that were a
lot better and I chose the mission statement you can see on the screen.
Safeguarding you legacy with compassion, strength and unmatched
expertise when it matters the most.
5. When it came to making logos I realized that I did not have a slogan, one
of the AI logo makers, Looka, came up with a slogan I quite liked.
Defending rights and honoring legacies so I kept that. Some of the original
logos were quite kiddish so then I emphasized that it should be formal
because it is a law firm, it then came up with the logo at the top of the
screen, I asked it to make it more clear and then I got the logo at the
bottom which is the one I chose.
6. The uniform was quite simple, I felt that a law firm would not have a
uniform uniform and that lawyers would wear something more like a suit.
While I was researching a bit more about that I found about the series
suits and asked ChatGPT to take inspiration from it and it immediately
came up with this.
7. Then we had to make a 6 month plan for social media advertisement, by
which I mean months before launch and one again I used ChatGPT to help
me do this. Here, I think what I had to emphasize the most was that even
though this is a social media post it has to be pretty formal keeping in
mind it is a law firm. You can skim through the plan for each month. My
goal for:
Month 1: Spread Awareness
Month 2: A bit more detail on what it is
Month 3: Emphasizing importance
(change slide)
Month 4: Live event
Month 5: Use an influencer to get more support
Month 6: Final launch details
8. Then we had to make a financial spread sheet, for this we were suggested
to use GPT excel but I felt that I preferred using normal ChatGPT because
it produced better quality spread sheets and GPT excel also had a limit of
10 messages per month. Here I asked ChatGPT to come up with dummy
data and create a spread sheet for my business with at least 5 graphs for
visuals, which you can see on the screen. My spread sheet also has
different sections like income tracking, expense tracking, employee
details, client information and a summary page. The only challenge with
this was that most AI engines can only do about 5 pieces of 'advanced
analysis' before you are at your limit and it asks to make a pro account.
9. I feel that the key part for this unit was learning how to use AI, using it to
help you and improve your work, rather than as a shortcut. I learned that
to use ChatGPT effectively you need to be quite careful about your
prompts and should always ask it to be concise because otherwise you will
almost definitely get an essay. It can speed up your work dramatically and
is perfect for things like data analysis or essentially working with numbers.
However, it often does not give you what you have in mind so working
with AI can sometimes be frustrating.
10.I think generally in a business like a law firm these are the two ethical
concerns you can have with AI. Data Privacy and security, bias and
fairness.
