How to Calculate One’s Fortune, According to this system:


1. Write out the letters in the given/first name in a row, then either beside or below each letter, write the number value of each letter
according to one of the two alpha-numeric tables above. Stay with only one of the alpha-numeric tables when doing this. Do not
intermix the values of both tables in one name! Add up the numbers to arrive at the total sum of the name.
2. Add the total sum of the name to the number assigned to the day of the week for which the oracle is being consulted. (See table).
3. Add the sum of step 2 with the number of the moon’s age. By moon’s age, it is referring to what day of the current lunation. The
most-recent new moon day is counted as day 1. For this step, you will need a calendar showing phases of the moon.
4. Divide the total sum of the name, day of the week, and moon’s age by 30. The Remainder (the first digit or two after the decimal
point) is your answer, and is interpreted according to the Table of Omens below. If the first digit is zero, no omen can be drawn.

Table of Omens
Result: Good Omens
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 Generally speaking, some preferment or good event is sure to follow.

11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 A substantial increase in wealth and/or worldly possessions.

10, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27 These numbers foreshadow great success in life.

Bad Omens
6, 12, 8, 7 These numbers prognosticate trouble, and even misery.

18, 15, 21, 24, 29 These numbers signify that some very great evil is to follow.

30, 28, 25 Trouble will come through friends and bad business.
