1. Can you describe a project you managed from start to finish?

Yes, I was part of the core team overseeing the Construction of 12 Railway Stations and Permanent Way

2. How do you ensure a project stays on schedule and within budget?

I start with a detailed execution plan, aligning it with the work breakdown structure (WBS) and realistic

timelines. I collaborate closely with cost engineers and procurement to align material delivery with key

milestones. I monitor progress weekly against baseline schedules and escalate any deviations early. For

budget control, I vet contractor statements thoroughly, ensure scope discipline, and manage change orders

with proper justification. This approach helped maintain control over costs and time during the Port Harcourt

Narrow Gauge rehabilitation project.

3. Tell us about a time you handled a conflict on a project team or with stakeholders.

During the Itakpe-Warri railway project, there was tension between the contractor and local communities over

compensation and right-of-way access. This threatened to halt progress. I initiated a stakeholder dialogue,

listening to community concerns and working with the contractor to address legitimate claims within legal and

budget limits. My mediation helped de-escalate the situation and allowed work to resume without further
