Introduction & Academics

My name is………..and I was born on 20th August 2001 in Parsa, Nepal and as a Nepali student my
passport number is …………….and my permanent Address is …………………………….As for Academics, I
finished my secondary level education from……………………… in the year 2017 where I secured 3.20 GPA,
after that I finished my High School from ……………………..where I secured 3.33 GPA in the year 2019, and
after that I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies from ……………………………………….where I
secured 67.15% in the first division in the year 2023.

Why the UK?

I have chosen to study in the United Kingdom because of its world-class education system, diverse

Why MSc Project Management?

Based on my research, pursuing an MSc Project Management at Northumbria University seems like an
excellent opportunity for both academic and career growth. The course’s alignment with the Association
for Project Management (APM) ensures that I’ll gain a strong foundation in project management that is
applicable across a wide range of industries. The two-year program covers essential topics such as
project feasibility, risk management, team collaboration, and portfolio development, providing me with
valuable, transferable skills that I can apply in various sectors.

What excites me about the course is that it offers not just theoretical knowledge, but also hands-on
experience. The Advanced Practice semester gives me the chance to work on Live Projects and
potentially contribute to research work, allowing me to apply the skills I’ve learned in real-world
settings. This practical experience is something that will be highly valued by employers.
Northumbria’s focus on research, especially in areas like project-driven organizations, innovation
diffusion, and construction management, will give me a deeper understanding of the field. The faculty's
expertise, combined with access to industry-standard software like Microsoft Project and IBM SPSS, will
ensure that I have the tools I need to succeed both academically and professionally.

which will help me build credibility in the project management field. Graduates from this course have
gone on to work for prominent companies like BAE Systems, Siemens, Shell, and Virgin Money, and I’m
excited about the possibility of pursuing roles such as project manager, business developer, or quality
manager.

Professional Doctorates, in case I want to explore further academic development.

Future Plans After Graduation

After graduating with my MSc in Project Management, I plan to return to my home country and begin
my career as a Project Manager. My goal is to work with reputable companies like Nepal Telecom, Ncell,
Yeti Airlines, Buddha Air, or Fusemachines, where I can apply the skills I have gained throughout my
course, particularly in Project Feasibility and Economics, Project Change, Risk and Opportunities
Management, and People in Project Management.

In my initial role, I expect to earn a competitive salary ranging from NPR 70,000 to NPR 150,000 per
month, based on industry standards and the size of the projects I manage. As I gain experience, my
salary will likely increase, with the potential to exceed NPR 200,000 per month for more senior roles.
Over time, I plan to transition into positions like Project Director or Program Manager, where I can
manage larger, more strategic projects and take on higher levels of responsibility. At that point, I
anticipate earning an even more competitive salary, potentially in the range of NPR 250,000 to NPR
350,000 per month, depending on the company and the scale of the projects.
By continuously developing my skills through certifications like PRINCE2 and PMP, and learning from
industry mentors, I aim to build a strong professional reputation and take on increasingly complex
projects. In the long term, I am also interested in exploring consultancy opportunities, either
independently or through a well-established consultancy firm, to leverage my expertise and drive
organizational growth.
