Belief in one God-both are monotheistic religions.


Belief in prophets-both believe in prophets such as Abraham and moses
Sacred scriptures-christians have the bible;muslims have the quran
Prayer – both encourage reqular payer
Fasting – christians fast during lent;muslims during ramadan
Life after death – both believe in heaven , hell and judgment
Places of worship- churches for Christian ; mosques for muslims
Charity-both emphasize helping the poor and needy
Moral teachings and righteousness- both promote ethical behaviour and righteousness
