START Triage Simulation Overview

The document outlines a simulated triage scenario using the START technique for 20 casualties, assessing their respiration, perfusion, and mental status. The casualties are categorized into four triage color tags: 9 are tagged red (immediate), 3 yellow (delayed), 6 green (minor), and 2 black (deceased). This simulation serves as a training tool for emergency response personnel in managing mass casualty incidents.

START Triage Simulation (20 Casualties)

This document presents a simulated pre-hospital on-scene triage scenario using the START
(Simple Triage and Rapid Treatment) technique. Each of the 20 casualties is assessed based
on respiration, perfusion, and mental status, then assigned a color tag indicating the triage
category.
