Hi! My name is Lester Aguirre and I’m 40 years old. I’m currently looking for a
summer job in a hotel because I enjoy meeting new people and learning new skills.
In my free time, I love reading novels, swimming, and hanging out with my
friends. I also enjoy cooking and sometimes try new recipes at home.
At home, I help with several chores. I usually clean my room, wash the dishes, and
help my parents with laundry. I also take care of our garden when I can.
I would describe myself as friendly, hardworking, and reliable. I’m always willing
to learn and I work well both in a team and on my own.
Task 2
Look at the pictures and write sentences that describe the
pictures using present continuous

Task 3
Write a short paragraph about your family and show possessive

John. His job is a doctor. My mother’s name is Laura. Her job is a
teacher. I have one brother. His name is Tim. Our dog’s name is
Max. Max is very cute. It is my favorite animal. My parents love Max
too, and they take care of him every day. We all love each other
very much!
My name is Lester David Aguirre Pacheco, and have a small family. My
father is a teacher and his job is very important to him. My mother is a
nurse and her favorite activity is cooking. I have one brother. His name
is Daniel and his hobby is playing soccer. We have a dog and its name is
Max. We love our family time, especially on weekends. Their love and
support mean a lot to me.
Task 4
Write a short paragraph about your favorite food and drink. Make
sure to describe if is fast food or homemade food.
My favorite food is pizza. I love eating pepperoni pizza because it is
delicious and cheesy. Pizza is usually considered fast food, but
sometimes we make it at home, so it can also be homemade. My
favorite drink is orange juice. It is refreshing and healthy. I like to drink
it with breakfast or lunch. Pizza and orange juice are a great
combination for me!

Write about your daily routine. Use the following:

I wake up at 6:30 a.m. I brush my teeth and take a shower. Then, I eat breakfast and get

During the day, I go to school and attend my classes. I study different subjects like math,
English, and science. I eat lunch with my friends at 12:30 p.m. After school, I go home
and do my homework.

In the evening, I relax and spend time with my family. We usually have dinner together at
7:30 p.m. After dinner, I sometimes watch TV or read a book. I go to bed at 10:00 p.m.
