Design Tables for NBCP and NSCP Codes

The document outlines design tables and codes used for the proposed government complex in Brgy. Matingain II, Lemery, Batangas, referencing NSCP 2015 and IBC 2012. It includes parameters such as occupancy category, wind and seismic factors, and design strengths for various structural elements. Compliance with specific sections ensures the structural integrity and safety of the development.

APPENDIX B

Design Tables for NBCP, NSCP and other design reference

Codes used from NSCP 2015 and IBC 2012

To ensure the quality and integrity of the proposed structures, the design included

in the site development and design of the proposed government complex at Brgy.

Matingain II, Lemery, Batangas takes into consideration various codes from NSCP 2015

IBC 1997. These codes are listed in the table below.

The requirement of Section [Link].1 that all significant

modes be included may be satisfied by demonstrating that
for the modes considered, at least 90 percent of the
Section [Link].2
participating mass of the structure is included in the
calculation of response for each principal horizontal
direction.

For all regular structures where the ground motion

representation complies with Section [Link], Item 1,
Elastic Response Parameters may be reduced such that the Section [Link].4,
corresponding design base shear is not less than 90 percent Item 1
of the base shear determined in accordance with Section
208.5.2.

Calculated storey drift using AM shall not exceed 0.025

times the storey height for structures having a fundamental
period of less than 0.7 sec. For structures having a Section [Link]
fundamental period of 0.7 sec or greater, the calculated
storey drift shall not exceed 0.020 times the storey.
