Mitsubishi 7V-5 Compressor Test Results

The document details the in-house performance test results of the Shell/Norske 7V-5 compressor conducted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries on April 2nd/3rd, 2014, which revealed a surge at +22% of the expected surge point. A root cause analysis identified issues such as asymmetrical flow patterns and test loop arrangements, leading to countermeasures implemented before a follow-up test on June 3rd, 2014, which showed improved surge flow and compliance with operating points. The final performance evaluation confirmed that the compressor's shaft power was within the guaranteed value, demonstrating successful resolution of the initial performance issues.
