Abstract (Matthew): We chose this topic because it is interesting and simple.
We
did three methods of water filtration: filtration, boiling, and distillation.
Acknowledgement (Alice) : We express our gratitude to Mrs. Martina, Ms. Syindi,
and Ms. Anes for their invaluable assistance in naming our SIP project, providing lab
materials, and purchasing the TDS meter.
Chapter 1: (Isabel)
Background of Study: Water, composed of hydrogen and oxygen, can be dirty due
to pathogens like E. coli. To ensure clean water, purification methods like boiling,
sedimentation, decantation, filtration, distillation, and chlorination are used.
Statement of Problem:(Sally)
[Link] DIRTY IT IS AFTER FILTRATION?
[Link] THE PH OF THE WATER STILL GOOD AFTER FILTRATION?
[Link] IT STILL SAFE TO BE DRINKED AFTER FILTRATION?
[Link] IS THE PH OF THE WATER AFTER THE METHODS?
Hypothesis: (Matthew)
1. The water will be clear after filtration.
2. It will be safe to drink after filtration.
3. Some of the water might be too dirty for people to drink.
4. The average PH of the water should be 100.
Significance of the Study (Alice) : This investigation is targeted at people who
needs clean water in an area that doesn’t have any.
Scope Of The Study (Isabel) :This is the scope of the study
Definition of Terms (Sally) : This is the definition of terms.
Chapter 2:(Matthew)
Review of Related Literature: This is the review of related literature. One of
them is : Water's history on Earth spans billions of years, with the liquid existing as
early as 4.4 billion years.
Chapter 3: (Alice)
Methodology: This is the Ingredients as well as the materials needed. This is
the procedure .
Chapter 4:(Isabel)
Presentation, analysis, and interpretation of data: These are the pictures of the
process of us doing our experiment.
Results: (Sally) From our experiment, the distillation method is most effective,
filtration works but not as effective as distillation, and boiling didn’t work.
Summary: (Matthew) Although some methods work, we need to be more careful
and precise next time.
Chapter 5:(Alice)
Conclusion: This is our final conclusion.
Chapter 6:(Isabel)
Recommendations: we would like to recommend doing this more precisely and
carefully to achieve more accurate results..
