BALVANTRAY MEHTA VIDYA BHAVAN A.S.M.

A
HOLIDAY HOME-WORK
SESSION 2025-2026
CLASS: NURSERY
HOLIDAY FUN FROLIC TASK

Dear Parents,

Long summer break is the most desirable part of school life. It provides time for
rest and leisure. Children can just laze around, unwind, eat, play, and make
merry. Vacations are of course a time to reinvigorate and revive. However, the
duties of a student must not be forgotten either. A balance, therefore, between
recreation and work must be found to ensure a break that is productive as well
as relaxing.

Holidays are great, but schoolwork can be fun

filled and inspiring too. As the school closes for
the summer break, we have planned some
activities / worksheets / projects for our learners
to enhance his/her learning skills in a fun filled
way. We have tried to make the work enjoyable
keeping in mind the interest of the children. Space
out the work and the child will enjoy doing it.

CREATE A NAME COLLAGE: -

Gather materials like coloured paper, markers, stickers, and magazines. Write your
child’s Name in big letters on a A4 size coloured sheet or cardboard. Then, help your
child find pictures or objects that start with each letter of their name. For example, if
their name is “ARUSHI” they could find pictures of an Apple, a rabbit, an umbrella, a
soap, a horse, and an ice-cream. As they place each item on the collage.

This hands- on activity not only teaches them the letters of their name but also helps
them understand the sounds and meanings associated with each letter.
