CHAPTER 3. PROJECT DESIGN
3.1 Design Criteria
3.1.1 Design Codes, Standards, and Specifications
The design shall be in accordance with all the applicable local and international codes, standards, and
specifications.
Natural Structural Code of the Philippines 2015 (NSCP) 2015 Volume 17th Edition
3.1.2 Computer Software and Program
Revit 2024
Building Design: Revit is commonly used for designing buildings and creating 3D models of
architectural designs. It allows architects to create detailed building designs, visualize the project in 3D,
and produce detailed documentation and construction drawings.
Enscape
The main focus of Enscape lies in the calculation of realistic visualizations of architecture with low
operating complexity. A real-time method is applied to achieve higher iteration speeds at the planning
project by reducing waiting times. The respective CAD model is used, for example, to derive a virtual
reality simulation.
Etabs
It is an intuitive and powerful software tool for confidently analyzing complex structures. ETABS
help engineers and architects design safe and efficient structures that meet the requirements of their
projects, making it a valuable tool for anyone in the construction industry
3.1.3. Materials and Specifications
