trips.

Travel agencies offer travel advice and all travel arrangements for their clients, as well as
provide an itinerary. This saves time and offers personalized service that suits your needs.
However, travel agencies often offer limited choices and they are more expensive. Booking
online can be a more affordable alternative to travel agencies. Not only is online booking

Business practices can differ greatly from country to country. Before an executive takes a
business trip abroad, the business practices of that country need to be carefully studied. A
basic understanding of the culture of the people in the country where the executive is
traveling will help you make appropriate travel arrangements. This knowledge can also be

Since many organizations have websites, the best place to start is probably the company’s
website. Review everything on the site, paying particular attention to the organization’s
mission and vision statement and the products and services offered by the organization.
Other suggestions for finding information about the organization include the following: Read
periodicals or websites that profile organizations in the United States. Ask friends, relatives,
and acquaintances what they know about the organization. Obtain an annual report of the
company. Large companies often have the reports posted on their websites. Consult your
local chamber of commerce. Ask your college placement office for information

different jobs? Why or why not?

according to the job positions. By focusing on relevant certifications and work experience,
the employer can have a better first impression on your job applicant. Using a one-sized fit
all document can give off the impression that you are applying for multiple jobs regardless of
their requirement, and this can be seen as laziness.

progression?

search or career growth. Most of us already have an extensive social network including our
relatives, friends, and others. As you begin looking for a job, you will want to develop a job-
related network. As you develop networking, you will have the ability for growth opportunities,
and advancements despite the career path you follow.
