Question 4
Consider an inverting amplifier circuit designed using an amplifier and two resistors, R1 = 10kΩ
and R2 = 1M Ω. If the op amp is specified to have an input bias current of 100 nA and an input
offset current of 10 nA,
(a) Find the resulting output dc offset voltage.
(b) Calculate the value of a resistor R3 to be placed in series with the positive input lead in order
to minimize the output offset voltage.
(c) What is the new value of VO after introducing R3 ?
Question 5
An internally compensated op amp is specified to have an open-loop dc gain of 106 dB and a unity
gain bandwidth of 3 MHz. Find fb and the open-loop gain (in dB) at fb , 300 Hz, 12 kHz, and 60
kHz.
